The hot summer continues and my schedule has been just as hot! Killer June gigs at The Smoking Pig, Creekwalk Festival in Vacaville, and Angelica's with Touch of Class. Special guests Mami (vocals) and Tim (sax) rocked the house. Stratify returned to Treasure Island and drew a massive crowd of people on a beautiful, but hot day! (Every outdoor gig has been crazy hot!) I even sat in with the great Tebo & Vicious Groove at The Quarter Note in Sunnyvale and got to jam with the legends Fillmore Slim and Alvin Draper.
TOC blew up the Fourth of July weekend at The Turf Club in Hayward with a packed house of party people. And my latest events were with Stratify at The Grove in Hollister and The Jazz & Beyond Series in Downtown Sunnyvale. We rocked Murphy Avenue with some real jazz-funk. Next up, a private gig with WTF (What The Funk!) and an evening of wine, food and music with Touch of Class at Big Dog Vineyards. My super busy summer continues. Stay tuned.
